too cool for school art class by rodin contour blush highlighter review Product packaging:
Too cool for schoolhouse e'er kills it with the packaging.  Their whole branding has a very unique graphic design with a couple of lines in their brand including art course, dinoplatz, and McGirly just to name a few.  These three products are from the artclass line and all of the aforementioned graphic design on the compact.  The meaty itself is a sleek matte black casing with the traditional snap-close closure.

too cool for school art class by rodin blush When you get-go get the production, it comes cutely wrapped with tissue paper held together with a "by rodin" sticker.  I kind of don't desire to throw away the box because it is and so cute!  It kind of reminds me of 1920's circus posters for some reason.too cool for school art class blush review korean blush review Inside yous'll find a nice sized mirror which you tin see 75% of your face up.  The product itself comes in a circumvolve dividing into three parts. The strips are normally vertical just for reason, my highlighter comes slanted.  Not sure if that is normal but I'm pretty sure it isn't LOL.

Color/ Pigmentation:
I was honestly scared these wouldn't be pigmented since K-beauty isn't really known to be super pigmented.  For pale skin girls like me, I do really enjoy M-beauty contours since they work very well with my skin color and unremarkably is subtle but natural.  Likewise cool for schoolhouse's profile pact is famous for a reason.too cool for school art class bronzer contour review
And so the profile pact comes with three shades, light white chocolate mixed with a hint of milk chocolate, light chocolate truffle shade, and a true milk chocolate shade.  LOL aye, I compare colours with nutrient considering I'one thousand a fatty ass like that :P.  When I'm starting off with my blank confront, I like to mix the lightest and the medium shade together and carve out my face start and so I tin can become a nice gradation.  So I go back into places where I want to ascertain some more than similar my cheekbones and my temple with the center and darkest shade.

too cool for school art class contouring pact swatch review They said you can use the lightest shade every bit a "highlighter" but actually, that isn't a highlighter.  It'due south more than of a mixing colour then a highlighter.  The center shade kind of reminds me of Pony effect's nice shading "behind story" which is i of my almost favorite shade of contour from her line of brand upwards.  The darkest shade is about three shades darker then the medium ane merely if yous are darker then NC/NW30, I'm not too sure if these would work since they already look really natural on my pale pare.

Mixed together, yous go a nice calorie-free brown with a slight grey undertone which aids in a very natural looking contour.  All the shades don't have any orange warmth to information technology which is platonic if you lot want a profile that looks supernatural.  No muddy mess hither!

too cool for school trio blush review The blusher comes in three shade too but unlike the contour version, this actually has three very different colours.  The lightest shade to the left (meaty is backwards for photo taking purposes), information technology is a very light peachy beige shade.  The center is a true peach shade and the correct is a strawberry milk shade colour.too cool for school blush swatch reviewSwatched separately, these has their ain private identity.  The lightest shade is almost barely at that place even on my pale skin, and then we'll just use that as a transition shade.  The centre colour is that low-cal powdery peach shade and the right is a true strawberry milkshake shade.  All mixed together, you kind of go a muted highlighter pink trying to exist tame, going to the pastel peach side but yet has that vivid pink color peeking out.

too cool for school highlighter review Yep, looking at the promo pictures, my highlighter is definitely lacking LOL.  On the left side (your right), it should be the lightest shade which is a shimmer light gilded shade, middle is a shimmery light pastel orangish and the right (your left) is a gorgeous rose gilded shade.  Swatched individually, the differences are very apparent.  I'd even use these separately if I don't feel similar mixing it together.  Heck, I'd fifty-fifty double it as an eyeshadow or to utilise it in my tear duct for a more than "awake" wait.  All mixed together, the colour comes out like a rose aureate shade leaning towards a slight light orange bronze colour.

too cool for school highlighter swatch review

korean highlighter swatch To my surprise, this highlighter is actually quite pigmented!  I but wish the formula was finer and non then shimmery eyeshadow in a behemothic pan type of ordeal.

Texture/ Finish:
For the contour and blusher, they accept the same consistency.  They are both matte with no types of shimmers and they aren't similar your typical powder blushers.  Just similar how they described it as information technology doesn't seem to look dry even if y'all "accidentally" apply too much.  I air quoted accidentally because I accept a heavy hand when information technology comes to blush and contour keke.  To the touch, information technology almost feels chalky but silky at the same time.  It is quite weird and I suspect maybe there is mica or something in it.

The highlighter, on the other hand, is completely different from the contour and blush.  Imagine those super shimmery shadows but in a giant pan form. This kind of reminds me of the starting time-e'er eyeshadow palette I bought long ago at Claire's at the beginning of my high schoolhouse days.  Back then, there wasn't Sephora in Canada or any big brand make up other than the typical old lady department store brands like Estee Lauder, LanΓ§ome, Elizabeth Arden.  The shimmery palette came in little strips and they felt kind of mesomorphic but information technology swatched really nicely on the skin.  Super duper shimmery, only like this ane.  Although the texture isn't as gritty every bit that palette, this is kind of like the afar cousin that is in her 20's.  A piffling more refined but came from the same bloodline HAHA.  I hope that made sense.  This highlighter composite out looks very apparent since it has a mixture of fine shimmers and larger shimmers.  If you are into more than fine shimmer highlighters like Becca's highlighters, Mac's soft and gentle, yous may not like this.  I personally don't mind it if I'thousand in the mood for information technology just most likely won't be wearing it much for the twenty-four hour period time since I don't bask big shimmers on my face.

Lasting power:
The contour lasted nearly 6 hours before fading, blusher was too around the same life bridge.  The highlighter kind of disappeared around the 4-5 60 minutes mark but then again, when it was applied with a brush, you didn't get much "glow" rather then shimmery chunks on the face anyways.  Do keep in mind I have dry out skin, almost never use a primer and I like to exit my BB cushions un-powdered.

Fragrance?:
All of these practice not have whatsoever blazon of fragrance to them.

Demo demo time!  Whoo Whoo~  Hither is my face with just foundation and a little bit of lip balm on.  Keke I didn't even find there was some absorber on my upper lip :P.  Please ignore that.

too cool for school contour review Let's beginning off with the contour!

Not going to go likewise much in depth of how to profile since I accept explained it a whole lot in the past.  If y'all guys are interested, I can do a whole mail service on how to properly contour for your own face up shape if you are interested.

Here is before…

korean contour review And here is after.  The difference is quite noticeable and I may have went a little heavy handed with the contour, like I always do.  But when I stop it off with the chroma and highlighter, it will look normal I hope.

Next up, blusher.  I used the lightest and middle shade all over my cheeks and even bring information technology upwards to near where my middle is for that "drunk" wait which I'grand really enjoying at the moment.  Then I mixed the middle shade and the darkest shade and applied that to the apples of my cheeks.

Terminal simply not least, highlighter.  No strategy with this ane.  I just mixed everything together and called it a day.

Here is my whole face washed, contour, blush and highlighter all together.  Told you it won't await crazy haha.

Okay at present to transform!  Imagine the galaxy background with the glitzy Sailor moon "make up transformation" type of deal HAHA.  Tin can yous imagine if we all woke upwards and simply screamed "MOON PRISM Ability… MAKE Upwards" and accept all your brand upward and clothes inverse in a flash, I'd wake my ass up in a jiffy.

Pro:
-natural looking products
-affordable
-comes with iii shades which you can play around with

Con:
-may not be pigmented for some people
-highlighter could use less chunky shimmers

Repurchase?:
Profile almost likely yes.
Blusher is a maybe.
Highlighter meh.

Overall thoughts:
Contour:
If yous are in the market for a foolproof profile, or you lot are merely starting out, I'd highly recommend this contour "kit" but that is if yous are my skin colour or maximum two shades darker then me.  It contains iii shades which is slap-up for mixing and the cost is really affordable.  Like what y'all saw upward above, it gives the skin a very natural look without looking orangey or muddy.  Overall I really practise similar this contour and tin see why this product is one of their all-time selling products.  Two thumbs upwards and highly recommend it.

Blusher: Although I do similar the formula which prevents heavy handed people like myself from overdoing their blush, this blush isn't super special hence the boilerplate score of 3/5 stars.  I do similar how there are three shades so if I'm traveling and want to pack light, this will be a product I'd consider bring with me since it is a piece of cake and no brainer blazon of product.  Over again, I'd too recommend this to beginners since it is fool proof and you go three shades in one. This along with the contour kit would exist great starter products to piece of work with and for $17 and your getting three shades, that the aforementioned price every bit 1 Mac chroma.  You do the math.  Bottom line, overall not a shabby production but I prefer other blushes that I accept in my collection.

Highlighter: This highlighter kind of reminds me of the Bobbi Brown shimmer brinks but this one from As well cool for school has a touch more larger shimmer particles.  On the skin it looks decent simply if you were to have any type of unevenness or dry patches, doom.  DOOM I tell you.  Not my nearly favourite highlighter out there merely the "darkest" shade, the rose golden colour, GORGEOUS.  I most probable will only use this as eyeshadows.  I'd say go it if you don't mind slightly larger shimmers but for me, this production would be a pass.

What do yous guys think about these products from Likewise absurd for school?  Have you tried the legendary contour pact and what are your experiences?  Permit me know in the comments downwards below and permit'south chit chat~
